The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "To amend the Law of Ukraine "On the Status of Veterans of War, and Guarantees of their Social Protection" (re participants of warfare and WWII disabled veterans)

Starting from January 1, 2013 the Law grants the participants of warfare during the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 and disabled veterans of war of II and III groups who have turned 85 or more privileges stipulated by article 13 of the Law "On the Status of Veterans of War, and Guarantees of their Social Protection" for the disabled veterans of the I group.

The respective bill was registered under No. 11096.
